WHAT SAFETY MEANS TO US
At WCP, safety is more than a policy, it’s personal. We understand that the most important part of each day is returning home safely to our families, which is why safety is our top priority, embraced and respected by every team member, from our CEO to every craftsman on the jobsite. We hold ourselves equally accountable and make a promise to our clients and trade partners to maintain a consistently safe work environment.

KEY ELEMENTS
Drug Free Workplace
Maintaining a productive and healthy work environment is non-negotiable. We are proud to be a drug-free workplace where every team member is expected to uphold the highest standards of responsibility, and professionalism. By fostering a clear and consistent commitment to a substance-free jobsite, we protect not only our employees but also our clients, partners, and the success of every project we undertake. Safety begins with clear minds and shared accountability.
OSHA 30 & CPR training for all Supervisors
At WCP, we believe strong leadership starts with knowledge and preparedness. Every supervisor is OSHA 30 certified and trained in CPR, ensuring they have the tools to recognize hazards, respond to emergencies, and lead by example on every jobsite. This advanced training reflects our unwavering commitment to safety and reinforces our promise to protect our team, our partners, and the communities we serve.
Job Hazard Analysis (JHA)
Safety starts long before the work does. We conduct thorough Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) to identify potential risks, outline safe work practices, and ensure every team member understands the hazards specific to each task. By taking a proactive approach to safety planning, we create safer jobsites, reduce incidents, and empower our crews to work with confidence and care from start to finish.
Company new hire orientation
Every new team member at West Coast Partitions starts their journey with a comprehensive New Hire Orientation designed to set the tone for success. We introduce our core values, safety expectations, and commitment to quality, ensuring each employee understands their role in upholding the WCP standard. From day one, we empower our people with the support they need to thrive on the jobsite and as part of our team.
Job Specific Orientation
Before stepping onto any jobsite, every West Coast Partitions team member completes a tailored Job Specific Orientation that outlines the unique safety requirements, potential hazards, and responsibilities for their role. This focused preparation ensures that each person understands how to work in alignment with WCP’s commitment to protecting our people and partners.
Accident and injury reporting system
Prompt and transparent reporting of accidents, injuries, and near-misses is essential to maintaining a safe work environment. Our reporting system ensures that every incident is documented, investigated, and used as an opportunity for improvement. By encouraging open communication and immediate action, we help prevent future incidents and uphold our commitment to the well-being of every team member
Safety Recognition
We believe that safety deserves to be celebrated. We regularly recognize individuals and teams who go above and beyond to create and maintain safe jobsites. By highlighting these everyday safety leaders, we reinforce the importance of awareness and looking out for one another, because a strong safety culture starts with the people who live it every day.
