OUR HISTORY

In 2024, West Coast Partitions celebrated continued growth and momentum across the Southwest. The team was awarded two additional phases of a multi-year data center build in Arizona, part of a 10-year development pipeline, solidifying WCP’s role as a trusted partner in high-demand, high-performance sectors. The company also expanded its footprint in Phoenix, welcoming new hires in project management, estimating, and field operations to support increasing demand. Throughout the year, WCP upheld its strong reputation for quality, reliability, and safety, completing every project without payment disputes and reinforcing its position as a contractor of choice for commercial and industrial builds.

With a perfect record of executing plans, the company shifted its attention to sustaining growth while actively seeking top talent to join the team. Accountability initiatives were rolled out across the organization, reinforcing WCP’s commitment to excellence.

This year marked a significant expansion as WCP began work in multiple states, further broadening its impact in the commercial wall and ceilings industry. The company continued its strong support for the Construction Management Program at Northern Arizona University (NAU), with owner Corey Slater honored as the keynote speaker at the DEMO Ball.

WCP also engaged in community activities, participating in spring training game sponsorships, and supporting a mission with NAU’s Construction Management Organization to build houses in Mexico. Our dedication to charitable events and partnerships remained steadfast, reflecting our commitment to giving back to the community and fostering strong relationships.

2022 was a remarkable year for West Coast Partitions, Inc., marked by numerous awards, continuous training, and promotions among the top talent in the company. We were especially proud to receive our first Subcontractor of the Year award, along with achieving our lowest Experience Modification Rate (EMR) of 0.66, reflecting our commitment to a strong safety culture. Many of our field and office staff engaged in ongoing training through the Arizona Business Alliance (ABA), emphasizing professional development and excellence.

In embracing our unbreakable culture, we celebrated team success by launching our inaugural “Day on the Lake,” inviting our team and their families to join in the festivities. Additionally, the office team embarked on exciting adventures, including white-water rafting on the Salmon River in Washington State and a once-in-a-lifetime fishing trip to Western Alaska to catch wild rainbows. These experiences not only strengthened our team bonds but also reinforced the collaborative and supportive atmosphere at WCP.

With over 100 employees in the field, the collaboration between the office and field personnel reached new heights, allowing WCP to execute projects at the highest level. This year was marked by remarkable builds, including the ASU Mullet Area, DoorDash Corporate Office, and high-profile Data Centers. WCP also proudly participated in three RED Award-winning projects, maintaining a steadfast focus on quality and safety while executing with precision.

Recognizing our rapid growth, we outgrew our second expansion and moved into a new office location, which provides operational space for our prefabrication elements, 6,000 square feet of office space, and an additional 24,000 square feet for materials and job readiness. As the company looks ahead to 2022, its commitment to excellence remains the top priority.

In 2020, West Coast Partitions, Inc. embarked on a pivotal year, determined to demonstrate its capabilities on larger projects. This was the year when WCP showcased its expertise through the successful completion of two significant hospital projects, marking a milestone in the company’s portfolio. Additionally, the introduction of prefabrication techniques for high-risk exterior projects enabled WCP to enhance efficiency and safety. As the company completed its first projects on the ASU campus, it also celebrated its achievement of becoming part of the National Women’s Business Enterprise Certification. To accommodate ongoing growth, WCP expanded its office and warehouse space, ultimately peaking at 75 field employees, reflecting a robust commitment to innovation and excellence in the commercial wall and ceilings industry.

The company set its sights on performance and a steadfast commitment to its core principle: “Do what you say and say what you do.” This dedication to integrity and accountability became the foundation for their operations as they continued to build momentum. Throughout the year, WCP hired a number of exceptionally talented individuals, enhancing the team’s capability to maintain rapid growth and expansion.
